What's Your Weapon of Choice?

I searched for years to find my perfect stick. First, 5B's then 2B's then Promarkl 808's (great for a while) but then I discovered the Vic Firth SD1. It was a combination of the proper weight and butt diameter that made the SD1 my "perfect" stick. What's your perfect pair? Smile

Now if they would just offer them in nylon tip as well! Mad

the perfect stick will always depend on the type of music your playing . best advice is to fill your stick bag with. assorted weapons. hot rods are awsome in a band practice especially if a guitar player says he can sing a ha . my weapons are as follows hot rods, 5b wood tip , and my personal favorite 2b nylon i play rock 2b or not 2b that is the answer

Drumsticks are a personal preference but at the same time you have to use the right sticks for the style of music.

Drumline is right though. Arming yourself with an assortment is truly the best way to go.

I have an assortment of different sticks but right now I'm using Vic-Firth's "Metal" sticks.

I also have diferent mallets, rhythm saws', brushes etc.
